This storytelling project was made possible through support from the Cook County Digital Equity Grant.
The grant provided the resources to preserve voices, restore memories, and create digital access to stories that might otherwise be lost. At its core, this work reflects the belief that digital equity is not only about access to technology, but about ensuring that every community has the opportunity to be seen, heard, and remembered.
Each interview honors a personal narrative of identity, resilience, and legacy. These are not summaries or highlights. They are lived experiences, shared with care so that families, neighbors, and future generations can connect more deeply with the people who shaped their lives.
